My name is Nikki! I'm the founder and CEO of PUCKer Up Sports. What started as a girl with a dream has expanded into something truly magical and I am proud of the family that we've created! When I'm not writing or talking about hockey (which isn't often), I'm probably traveling for a concert or a music festival. I love a new adventure and exploring other countries. PUCKer Up is my baby and I can't wait to continue providing great coverage throughout the NHL.
Hi! I'm Julia Kender and I'm the head of PUCKer Up Philly! I'm a lifelong Flyers fan, despite being born in D.C.. When I was six, I moved to Philly where I grew up. Now, I'm studying at Columbia College Chicago where I am double majoring in sports journalism and acting. Since I was little, sports have been a huge part of my life & so has writing. It just made sense to me to put my two favorite things together and try and make something out of it. With this opportunity to cover my favorite team, I consider myself very lucky. I can't wait to see PUCKer Up Philly grow!
Please, just call me Becky. Temple journalism, go Owls. Just a hockey fan with a soft spot for goalies. Live and breathe for the black and orange. I'm the president of the Alex Lyon fan club and I have the signature to prove it. When I'm not screaming about hockey to anyone in earshot, I spend my time fighting crime on Twitter, getting Chinese food with my boyfriend, watching Glee, or hanging out with my pet goats. Big Harry Styles enthusiast. 80's pop culture is my specialty, Also a writer for Philly is Flyer, Double G Sports, and I co-host/produce a lil podcast called Mother Pucker.
Hi guys! I'm Kaleigh Nolan and I'm the social media person for PUCKer Up Philly! I'm going into my junior year at Stockton University for health science with a concentration in physical therapy. The Flyers run my life to the point that I made sure I took all morning classes so I could watch their games. The Wells Fargo Center is basically my second home during the season. Due to following hockey, I've become friends with people who like other teams, which made me have a soft spot for the Capitals as well. (Also, I am the self-proclaimed President of the Carter Hart Fan Club. I own four of his jerseys already, whoops). I can not wait to see what this season entails!
Hey everyone! I'm Ariel, a journalist for PuckerUp Philly! I am from Millville, New Jersey. I am a 2016 graduate of Cabrini College, now University. I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Communications. The Flyers have been my number one team for as long as I can remember. The Blue also have my heart (thank you Brayden Schenn for that). You can see me writing about St. Louis on SB Nation as well. Really excited to be back writing about my favorite team!
